Aims and Objectives of the Club

To forge a closely-knit community among German-speaking students, both former and current
Since German is a popular foreign language taken by NUS students, it is thus feasible that students learning German get together for the pursuit of similar interests in the German language and culture. Furthermore, interested NUS Alumni members will be invited to join as well, creating opportunities for interaction between current students in NUS and NUS Alumni members.

To expose students to the numerous possibilities that Germany has to offer, academically and professionally
With the Student Exchange Programme (SEP) being able to accommodate increasing numbers of students to participate, more and more students will be able to go on SEP. Germany, with its long-standing academic tradition, represents one viable choice for SEP students. Furthermore, Germany is one of the major trading partners of Singapore and there are many German companies based locally.

To promote the German Language and Culture
This can be done with the different activities organized by the club.
