To forge a closely-knit community
among German-speaking students, both former and current
Since German is a popular foreign language taken
by NUS students, it is thus feasible that students learning German get
together for the pursuit of similar interests in the German language and
culture. Furthermore, interested NUS Alumni members will be invited to
join as well, creating opportunities for interaction between current students
in NUS and NUS Alumni members.
To expose students to the numerous
possibilities that Germany has to offer, academically and professionally
With the Student Exchange Programme (SEP) being
able to accommodate increasing numbers of students to participate, more
and more students will be able to go on SEP. Germany, with its long-standing
academic tradition, represents one viable choice for SEP students. Furthermore,
Germany is one of the major trading partners of Singapore and there are
many German companies based locally.
